Virtutech Bolsters Senior Executive Team; Seasoned Engineering, Business Development and Marketing Veterans Extend Company's Leadership, Expanding on Recent Growth and Success
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2004--Virtutech, Inc., the world's leading provider of full-system virtualization technology for advanced software development, today announced the addition of three senior executives, further accelerating the company's rapid growth. Bjorn Johansson has joined the company as vice president of engineering; Dr. Paul McLellan, vice president of marketing; and Dale Rossi, vice president of channels & business development.
These key executive appointments extend the company's position as the leader in the rapidly growing market for virtual development environments, which supplant traditional hardware-based approaches to software development.

Mr. Johansson brings more than 15 years' experience managing product development within high-growth, high-tech companies. He has managed engineering groups in both established companies -including Ericsson- and start-ups. As vice president of engineering, Mr. Johansson will be responsible for all of Virtutech's product development and modeling.
Paul McLellan adds more than 20 years' experience in high-technology engineering and marketing, in both startups and larger companies. Previous positions have included corporate vice-president of strategic technology at Cadence Design Systems, president of Compass Design Automation and vice president of marketing at VaST Systems Technology. As vice president of marketing, Dr. McLellan will run all product management and marketing.
Dale Rossi has more than 13 years' successful entrepreneurial management experience in high-growth technology companies. His most recent positions were senior director of sales, Bristlecone (SAP), co-founder & COO of Accordia, and founder & CEO of Servelink, as well as holding senior positions with Micromuse and Lucent Technologies. At Virtutech, Mr. Rossi will run all partner, corporate and market communications including channel programs and partnerships. In addition, Mr. Rossi will drive business strategy on key accounts.
