Royal visit at the Top Marques 2014 in Monaco: Prince Albert II pays a visit to the QUANT e-Sportlimousine with nanoFLOWCELL® drivetrain concept
Vaduz, 17 April 2014 - nanoFLOWCELL AG welcomed a royal visitor on the opening day of the Top Marques Monaco 2014: Prince Albert of Monaco, patron of the automobile and luxury trade fair in the principality, took the opportunity to pay a personal visit to one of the highlights of this year's show: the new QUANT e-Sportlimousine with nanoFLOWCELL® drivetrain concept.
At the Top Marques 2014, nanoFLOWCELL AG presents the QUANT
e-Sportlimousine, the "super model among the super models" of exclusive luxury cars in Monaco.
"We are delighted that Prince Albert showed a personal interest in our new revolutionary drive technology for an electromobility with a promising future. He was thrilled by the idea of using a flow cell to achieve such performance figures all-electrically and with zero emissions. He wished us lots of luck for the next steps in the development", said a delighted Nunzio La Vecchia, Head of Development of nanoFLOWCELL AG, about the prince's extremely positive feedback on the new drive technology and the design of the new QUANT e-Sportlimousine.
The QUANT e-Sportlimousine with nanoFLOWCELL® drivetrain concept was able to attract the attention of the organisers of the exclusive luxury trade fair in Monaco already in the run-up to the show so that it now adorns the flags and banners of the event, and graces the official poster of this year's luxury exhibition.
Over the past eleven years the Top Marques Monaco has evolved into one of the world's largest trade fairs for exclusive luxury automobiles. Its standard for innovative technologies, top performance and extraordinary design provides exceptional insights into the world of innovative luxury cars. In addition to other aspects of a luxurious lifestyle, the Top Marques Monaco show has primarily made the presentation of the haute couture of the automotive industry a top priority. From 17 to 20 April 2014, the show will once again be the venue for the presentation of an exclusive selection of the world's most valuable sports saloons and exquisite motors. The luxury saloons on display in Monaco represent the "super models" of the automotive industry and thrill car enthusiasts and motorsports fans from around the world with their ground-breaking technological innovations.
With the 11th edition of the according to the organisers "most exclusive motor show in the world" the Top Marques Monaco 2014 intends to usher in a new decade: the luxury motors presented here are supposed to exceed all expectations and break the previous attendance record of more than 33,000 people set last year. Beside the haute couture of the automotive industry, other aspects of a luxurious lifestyle will also be on display, including elegant watches, exclusive jewellery and exquisite yachts.
Interested journalists and visitors can still experience the QUANT e-Sportlimousine with nanoFLOWCELL® drivetrain concept live on exhibition stand D2 in the award-winning Grimaldi Forum in Monaco until 20 April 2014.

About nanoFLOWCELL AG
Founded in late 2013, nanoFLOWCELL AG is an innovative Research and Development Centre based in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The focus of nanoFLOWCELL AG's research is on the advanced development of drive technology and the classification of flow-cell technology. In the simulation laboratory of the nanoFLOWCELL DigiLab in Zurich, mastermind and development chief Nunzio La Vecchia and his team examine important aspects of quantum chemistry on the basis of molecular engineering. For years they simulated experiments with charge transfer, then conducted trials using digital models, before finally synthesising them for further testing. The current research vehicle, the QUANT e-Sportlimousine, enables the developers to study the mechanisms of charge transfer for the innovative storage technology - the nanoFLOWCELL® - during vehicle operation, as well as to fine tune charge strategies for recuperation and further develop the regeneration of cell charging and safety as well as quality controls.
