London, Munich - TV-Loonland and UK Distributor Metrodome are delighted to announce that Monster has won a Best Actress Academy Award for Charlize Theron. The award was won at the 76th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles and follows previous wins at the Golden Globes, Berlin Film Festival (Best Actress), Screen
Actors Guild (Best Lead Actress) and National Board of Review (Breakthrough Performance).
The last couple of years have proved highly successful for Metrodome who enjoyed box office success with Donnie Darko and Spellbound. Metrodome Managing Director Andrew Keyte says, "After 3 years of restructuring. METRODOME is now profitable and Monster shows we have a great 2004 ahead of us".
