Henkel Central Eastern Europe Changes in Top Management - BILD =

"Utl.: Effective July 1, 2002, there have been several personnel changes in top management positions at Henkel Central Eastern Europe (Henkel CEE)."

Ms. Birgit Rechberger-Krammer, 33, assumes responsibility as Sales Director Laundry & Home Care for Central Eastern Europe (CEE) on behalf of Henkel CEE in Vienna.

Born in Vienna, Ms. Rechberger-Krammer began her business management career in Vienna in 1992 as a trainee in key account management at Henkel. In the period 1994-1997, she assumed various marketing, sales and category management positions connected to the Thompson product line. From 1997 to 2000, she managed sales for Henkel�'s Thompson products in the field of apartment care.

Since July 1, 2000, Ms. Rechberger-Krammer has been working as "Head of Key Account Management CEE" for the company�'s detergent segment, with responsibility for coordinating day-to-day business with international retail chain stores. She has made a major contribution to the positive development of Henkel�'s business operations in this market segment.

Ms. Birgit Rechberger-Krammer is the successor to Mr. Andreas Knöbl, who, in turn, has been named General Manager of Henkel Slovenija and Henkel Croatia since July 1, 2002. Mr. Knöbl has been working for Henkel since 1989, initially as a marketing trainee and assistant. Between 1991 and 1993, he was Product Manager in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, and also concluded a one-year job rotation in marketing at Henkel Iberica, Henkel�'s Spanish subsidiary in Barcelona. Since 1998, Mr. Knöbl has been Sales Director for the company�'s detergent business in Central and Eastern Europe.

The current General Manager of Henkel Slovenija and Henkel Croatia, Mr. Reinhard Klackl, returns to Henkel CEE headquarters in Vienna and assumes the position of Marketing and Sales Manager Cosmetics for Central Eastern Europe (excluding Austria). Mr. Klackl served as General Manager of Henkel Slovenija for four years. Two years ago, he also assumed responsibility for managing the business operations of Henkel Croatia.

Henkel Central Eastern Europe (CEE) based in Vienna is one of the most successful producers of brand-name products in the Central and Eastern European region. Henkel CEE is the regional market leader for hair care products, adhesives and surface technologies and is a top provider of detergents, cleansers and cosmetic brands.
