Welcome to Stand 112 in Hall 9
"Closer to You, Closer to the World": Exemplifies the Extensive Choices and Services at FRA
FRA/rap> Fraport AG, the owner and manager of Frankfurt Airport (FRA), will be exhibiting again at this year's International Tourism Exchange (ITB) from March 11 to 15 at the Berlin exhibition grounds in Germany. Under the motto "Closer to You, Closer to the World," Frankfurt Airport's Stand 112 in Hall 9 will focus on the wide choice of services and facilities offered at Europe's superhub. In addition, visitors will be able to learn about Frankfurt Airport's (FRA) global flight network - especially the diverse connections to the growth markets of Eastern Europe and Asia - and the unsurpassed intermodal air/rail/road links. Other themes include FRA's massive development program designed to keep Frankfurt at the leading edge of the travel world: capacity expansion projects such as the planned Northwest Landing Runway and the new Terminal 3; and a new maintenance base for the coming A380 superjumbo jets.
Product innovations at the Frankfurt Airport stand include ExpertNet, an Internet-based information service designed exclusively for German travel agencies to help them provide expert advice to their clients. Another
innovation has been developed for FRA's Duty Free and Travel Value shops: Effective immediately, shoppers can pay with their accumulated frequent flyer points. Fraport will also be highlighting the FRA "airport city," with its 200 shops and restaurants, diverse conference facilities, and three excellent airport hotels.
The Frankfurt Airport Internet travel portal (www.frankfurt-airport.de) offers extensive information, useful tips, and booking capabilities. For example, travelers can save substantially when they book their airport parking online in advance. The Airport Travelnet provides a choice of more than 2 million flights worldwide and attractive travel arrangements to book online.
ITB 2005 - the largest and most important trade show for the travel and tourism industry - will feature more than 10,000 exhibitors from about 180 countries and regions and is expected to exceed 140,000 visitors this year.
