Throughout the bootcamp, these startups engaged in a series of comprehensive workshops designed to enhance their market readiness and strategic capabilities. Key topics covered included market opportunities, communication strategies, marketing techniques, and pitching skills. These sessions aimed to equip the startups with the necessary tools to scale their businesses and make a significant impact on urban mobility.
"Emerging technologies like 5G, V2X, IoT, AI and Blockchain are set to revolutionize urban mobility, with the reference of AI market valuation in this sector projected to surpass €10 billion by 2027. EIT Urban Mobility's Accelerate2MOVE programme propels startups with innovative technologies in these booming fields providing 6 months of support," said Raül Feliu, Start-up Programmes Manager at EIT Urban Mobility. "By connecting with a robust pan-European consortium led by REGEA (Croatia) and including LMT (Latvia), Poslovna Inteligencija (Croatia), VEFRESH (Latvia), Ljubljana University Incubator (Slovenia), and Innovation Centre Nikola Tesla (Croatia), startups gain unparalleled access to expertise and networks, positioning them at the forefront of sustainable urban transport innovation."
Petra Grgasović who is the Accelerate2Move project lead, added: "In Accelerate2Move, start-ups develop innovative solutions that address real European and even global mobility challenges. This year's bootcamp was an exceptional opportunity to meet them and learn about their strengths and needs. Now we have five months to implement real actions to help them grow, with an emphasis on connecting them to investors, clients and pilot hosts."
Looking ahead, the Accelerate2Move bootcamp is set to continue its journey across Europe, with the next session scheduled to take place in Riga next year. This upcoming bootcamp promises to offer new opportunities for startups to refine their innovations and contribute to the future of urban mobility.
