Otis To Supply 61 Units For Poland's Largest Shopping Mall
FARMINGTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 2004--Otis Elevator Company has secured contracts to supply and install 61 elevators, escalators and moving walkways for the new Arkadia shopping and entertainment center near Warsaw's central business district.

When Arkadia is completed in the fourth quarter of 2004, it will be Poland's largest mixed-use center, covering 3 million square feet (287,000 square meters), including 1.1 million square feet (110,000 square meters) of retail area.
Otis, which has already begun the installation, is supplying 31 elevators, 20 escalators and 10 moving walkways.
In addition to anchor tenant Carrefour, Europe's largest retailer, Arkadia will include a mix of specialty and lifestyle retailers, ranging from medium-sized stores to boutique shops. A multiplex theater, food court, bowling center and other entertainment tenants are also part of the center.
