MicroTec to present lab on a chip and minicamera applications at Medica 2004

Dusseldorf, Germany, November 22/PRNewswire/ -- MicroTec will present its high density packaging for biosensor and camera miniaturization applications at this year's Medica trade show. And there's good news on the microfluids front: MicroTec's lab on a chip systems have recently demonstrated their excellent functionality for space applications. In September, the company's plastic microfluid products were tested in a series of parabolic flights under the auspices of ISS Lab Ruhr GmbH.

MicroTec has been offering customized series production and product development services since 1996. The company's product and service range includes diagnostic and analytic systems, dispensers, nozzles, microgrippers, microgearing and micropumps, microsensors for biotechnology and medical applications, as well as design engineering, product and material development, structural and mounting technology and consultation services. A technology leader, MicroTec holds international patents on process technologies including RMPDŽ (rapid micro product development) and 3D-CSP (three dimensional chip size packaging).
