EBACE2005 Shaping Up As Strongest Ever - Only Two Exhibit Spaces Remaining

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 2005--The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) today announced that, with a total of 870 available spaces on the floor plan at the Geneva Palexpo Conference Center, the 2005 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE2005) has only two exhibit booths remaining before all spaces are sold out.

For this year's Exhibition, nearly 260 business aviation product and service providers have filled the 868 booths, which is a 29 percent increase over last year at this time. Incredibly, since the first EBACE five years ago, booth sales have gone up by 85 percent, and the number of exhibiting companies has risen by 34 percent.

In addition, EBACE2005 will feature 43 aircraft on static display, which signifies a 40% increase since EBACE premiered in 2001. Last year's space sold out early, so the airport allotted more space, which sold as well.

EBACE is jointly hosted each year by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), the leading association for business aviation in Europe, and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the leading voice for the business aviation industry worldwide.

The Exhibition is the only major European event focused solely on business aviation. This year's exhibition, the fifth of its kind, will be held from May 18 through 20 at the Geneva Palexpo Conference Center.

EBACE brings together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, corporate aviation department personnel and all manner of people involved in nearly all aspects of business aviation. New business aircraft firms, avionics firms, handling organizations, fractional providers, charter/lease companies and previously titled aircraft resellers display their wares at the exhibition.

"EBACE is a great barometer for the European business aviation industry, and it looks like we're in fine shape" noted EBAA CEO Brian Humphries. "We've been able to attract the right high-level representatives from the European Commission Air Transport Division, the European Aviation Safety Agency and Eurocontrol to address the changing face of aviation infrastructure in Europe during a most exciting Opening General Session."

NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen said, "The EBACE partnership works extremely well. Both EBAA and NBAA are continually focused on serving the needs of the business aviation community. Additionally, through EBACE, both organizations bring together European operators and U.S. operators flying in European airspace with high-level representatives from the vendors in our community who are so important to the success of their flight departments."

EBACE is committed to Geneva through 2009, with the following schedule in place:

-- Wednesday May 3 through Friday May 5, 2006

-- Tuesday May 22 through Thursday May 24, 2007

-- Tuesday May 20 through Thursday May 22, 2008

-- Tuesday May 12 through Thursday May 14, 2009

The 5th Annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2005) will be held May 18 through 20, 2005, at Geneva Palexpo Conference Center, located immediately adjacent to Geneva International Airport in Geneva, Switzerland. The only European exhibition to focus exclusively on business aviation, EBACE is organized jointly by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and European Business Aviation Association (EBAA).
