Beta's Photograph of the Year Competition Begins

The Beta news agency has launched its traditional competition for the best photograph of the year.

This is the 8th consecutive competition BETA is organizing under the title BETA's Photograph of the Year.

All professional photographers from the countries of South East Europe are invited to participate
with pictures taken in South East Europe. The competition will last until April 21.

Prizes awarded in the competition are monetary: the first prize is worth EUR1,000, the second EUR750,

and the third EUR500. In addition to the main prizes there will also be a special prize awarded by
Telekom Srbija.

The members of the jury will be Aleksandar Andjic (Vreme magazine), Dragan Kujundzic

(the Association of Photo Authors), Vladimir Tatarevic (the Academy of Applied Arts), Darko Vojinovic (AP),

and Nenad Petrovic (BETA).

An exhibition of selected pictures will open in the New Moment gallery in Belgrade on May 19 at 6 p.m..

As in the previous years BETA will publish a catalog of all exhibited works.
