Berlin (ots) - The new version 3.0 of FRITZ!X USB, the ISDN PBX with a built-in ISDN-Controller, is now available from dealers. With its accompanying ISDNWatch software, the combination product for ISDN provides reliable protection against undesired connections, such as calls to expensive premium numbers. The new ISDN product also provides features for more telephony convenience.
Dialing Filter Prevents Unwanted Calls
The ISDNWatch software included with FRITZ!X USB provides a dialing filter for more security and control on the ISDN PC. The PC is doubly protected against dialer programs and premium-service numbers: ISDNWatch allows the user to block calls to and from both individual numbers and whole number blocks. The analog extensions-the telephones or fax machines connected to the PBX-are also guarded against unwanted connections.
New Features for More Convenience and Clarity
The combination ISDN-Controller and PBX FRITZ!X USB v3.0 has new features for significantly more convenient telephoning: For example, three family members or office-colleagues can talk together simultaneously in an internal conference call, without incurring connection charges. Or Subscriber A and B on two internal extensions can both talk to Subscriber C on the external line. To make costs completely transparent, FRITZ!X USB v3.0 can now pass on charge information received from the ISDN line to analog extension phones. The ISDN PBX also passes on fixed-line SMS text messages to compatible terminal equipment on the extensions. Hot plug & play and automatic hardware detection ensure quick and easy installation. FRITZ!X USB v3.0 now also supports the energy-saving features of ACPI (the Advanced Configuration Power Interface).
On Sale Now-CAPI-Drivers for Linux Included
FRITZ!X USB v3.0 works with the Microsoft operating systems Windows XP, Me, 2000 and 98. Moreover, FRITZ!X USB v3.0 is the first product in its class to be shipped with Linux support right from the start. The combination ISDN-Controller and PBX is available now for 153.45 plus local VAT.
