Fraport Expertise for ACI: Fraport AG's Chairman and Vice Chairman Elected to Airports Council International's

World and European Governing Boards

Frankfurt, Germany (ots) - The executive board chairman and vice chairman of Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services

Worldwide have recently been appointed to the governing boards of Airports Council International (ACI) - the international association of the world's airports - and its European branch ACI Europe. Dr. Bender, Fraport's executive board chairman, will join the 28-member "ACI World Governing Board", and Prof. Schölch, Fraport's executive board vice chairman, will represent Fraport AG in the "ACI European Board". In their respective positions, Bender and Schölch will be able to apply their extensive airport-related expertise to shape future airport policy in Europe and internationally. Both airport executives announced that they will offensively represent the interests of German airport operators. ACI Europe (www.aci-europe.org), based in Brussels, Belgium, represents some 450 airports in 48 countries.
