DHL Danzas Air & Ocean Celebrates / Topping-out of New Cargo Logistics Facility at Frankfurt Airport's CargoCity South

Frankfurt/Main (Germany) - DHL Danzas Air & Ocean - a member of the Deutsche Post World Net group - will celebrate the topping-out of its new logistics center at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) on June 26, 2003. Located at Fraport AG's CargoCity South development area at FRA, this facility includes a cargo hall with 8,600 square meters of useable handling space and a six storey administration building offering 6,500 square meters of office space. "DHL Danzas Air & Ocean's relocation to CargoCity South is a further example of how major international logistics companies are intensifying their activities at Frankfurt Airport. This strengthens our hub position in the global airfreight business," stressed Prof. Manfred Schölch, executive board vice chairman of Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide. The cargo hall features special rooms for refrigerated goods and valuables, a separate area for dangerous goods, the latest handling technology for large containers, as well as 31 truck docks.
