Investigations Against Fraport Managers Dropped
Frankfurt (ots) - The Frankfurt district attorney's office has dropped its preliminary investigations against Fraport executive board members Dr. Wilhelm Bender and Prof. Manfred Schölch, as well as other senior managers of Fraport AG, in connection with a project in Tashkent. Fraport AG has always rejected the accusations as unjustified.
According to the information available to Fraport AG, the investigations were based on allegations by a former Fraport employee who had been dismissed without notice. All statements of this employee proved to be contradictory and false.
The executive board welcomes the order of dismissal issued by the district attorney's office because it has cleared the affected Fraport managers of any suspicion. The district attorney's investigation had resulted in considerable publicity in Germany and abroad and had caused discussions in the capital market.
