International Web Pioneers at the first jQuery Conference in Vienna

Vienna, 24th of October 2012 - "jQuery meets historic Vienna", this is the theme of the first internationally renowned jQuery conference taking place in Austria's capital.
The two-day conference hosted by Gentics offers a platform for developers from all over the world enabling knowledge transfer on the latest jQuery and JavaScript related technologies. Numerous internationally renowned speakers await the participants, including Richard D. Worth director of the jQuery Foundation, Doug Neiner jQuery core member, Jörn Zäfferer jQuery UI core member, Mike Taylor Opera Javascript Developer, and Sebastian Kurfürst, TYPO3 core member. They will talk about the latest trends in web, apps and smart TV development with jQuery as well as provide further insights into the future of IT.
Haymo Meran, Chief Technical Officer at Gentics Software and an active member of the jQuery community himself says: "It's a unique opportunity to host this conference at a time where JavaScript use is skyrocketing. In recent years Haymo Meran has already impressed visitors of jQuery conferences in San Francisco and London with Gentics's expertise in HTML5 WYSWIG editing. Under Haymo Meran's guidance Gentics developed the popular Aloha Editor (http://www.aloha-editor.org), based on Javascript (especially JQuery) and HTML5 and built an active community of developers. He has managed to build a community, which is tasked with the further development of the Editor. The Online Editor is based on Javascript (jQuery) and relies on the standard of the future HTML 5.
Tickets
