FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- "Mobil 1 The Grid," a weekly, 30-minute television series devoted to global motorsports, returned for its fifth season in the United States on NBC Sports Network on Thursday, March 7, at 9:30 pm ET. The popular series will continue to air worldwide and be broadcast in 25 languages.

The show also profiled Jann Mardenborough, a gamer and the 2011 winner of the Nissan Playstation GT Academy, whose skills in a real race car were so impressive that he was selected to run the entire British GT Championship last season.
